Steven Lowe discovered Humanism after his retirement from international business in 2001 and has been a Humanist activist ever since. He delivers walking tours about Robert Ingersoll in Washington, DC and serves on the Boards of two Freethought organizations. He grew up in rural Virginia and was a Peace Corps volunteer in Zaire ( Congo) after graduating from the University of Virginia in 1972.
