MESSAGE FROM THE EDITOR: Humanist Halloween Costumes

By now you’ve probably figured out that Humanist Network News likes to find opportunities to incorporate humanism in all aspects of life, and Halloween is no exception. Looking for a last-minute costume and want to show your humanist pride? Don a turtleneck and blazer while carrying a complete set of Cosmos and go as 1981 Humanist of the Year Carl Sagan. Break out the bowler hat and long white beard to be Charles Darwin. Or wear orange pants, an orange shirt, and go as secular humanist Piper Chapman from the popular Netflix series Orange is the New Black. Whatever your creative mind decides, snap a picture and send it to us at hnn@americanhumanist.org. We’ll post it on the AHA’s Tumblr page and inspire next year’s Halloween!
