MESSAGE FROM THE EDITOR: Our Commitment to Accountability

I’m pleased to announce that, for the third year in a row, the American Humanist Association has met all twenty Standards for Charitable Accountability by the Better Business Bureau’s Wise Giving Alliance. The BBB’s evaluation process involves rigorous scrutiny of a charity’s governance, effectiveness, finances, solicitations and informational materials—beyond what government regulators require. On top of this, the AHA continues to receive a four-star rating on Charity Navigator, be listed as a Silver Participant on GuideStar, and qualifies as a member of the Combined Federal Campaign.

We at the American Humanist Association are proud to demonstrate our commitment to accountability and ethical practices, so that when you support the AHA, your dollars are put to good use—whether they’re toward increasing our legal activity to defend humanist rights, making the humanist voice heard in the halls of Congress, or supporting our grassroots network to build humanist communities at the local level. Your support matters. Donate today.
