Brianna Simone

Brianna Simone (she/they) is a multi-media artist, community organizer, queer and BIPOC youth mentor
in South Los Angeles. They were welcomed into the Women’s Leadership Project during their
junior year of high school at Gardena Senior High School, class of 2019. Women’s Leadership
Project and the #Standing4BlackGirls coalition provides the platform and caters to Brianna’s
unique and intersectional perspective on black feminism, while also giving her the opportunity to
express herself through artwork and poetry. The education and mentorship that Brianna has
received over the years has motivated them to enter higher education and entrepreneurship so
that they can continue to follow their dreams and inspire other youth to do the same.
