Dr. John R. Shook lives in the Washington, DC, area, teaching philosophy at Bowie State University, Maryland, and Georgetown University. He co-edited the Oxford Handbook of Secularism and authored The God Debates. Shook is the editor of Essays in the Philosophy of Humanism for the American Humanist Association.
