Mark Reimers

Mark Reimers investigates brain function through applying statistics and computer models to recordings of brain activity. Having worked at the National Institutes of Health, the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, and the Virginia Institute for Psychiatric and Behavioral Genetics, he currently does research and teaches courses in neuroscience at Michigan State University. He studies communication inside the brain and has written about the neuroscience of altruism. He is a frequent presenter at humanist and science outreach events in central Michigan.
