Nancie Loudon Gonzalez is an ethnographer and ethno-historian who obtained her PhD at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She is now professor emeritus of anthropology and conflict management, University of Maryland, College Park. She is a registered Democrat and a humanist.
