Stephen G. Perry
Stephen G. Perry taught creative writing for many years at Long Beach City College, as well as at the UCLA Extension Writers’ Program, among other venues. His poetry has been published in the New Yorker, Yale Review, Virginia Quarterly Review, Kenyon Review, and many other top outlets. Questions About God is a collection of his humanist-themed poetry, available from Humanist Press in print and e-book versions. Perry died on September 5, 2017, at the age of sixty-six. This previously unpublished poem is published here with permission of his wife, Susan.
