Joyce Lackie is a member of the Humanists of Greater Portland in Portland, Oregon. A retired English professor from the University of Northern Colorado, she enjoys traveling–especially to Central and South America–hiking, reading, and singing. Always somewhat involved in politics, for the last four years she has been a strong advocate for democratic involvement.
