Russell Neufeld

Russell Neufeld was brought up in Ethical Culture, which sponsored the Encampment for Citizenship. He spent most of his professional career as a public defender, including as New York City’s chief public defender as the attorney-in-charge of the Criminal Practice at The Legal Aid Society. He has written widely on human rights and criminal justice issues.
