What Hot Topics Are Humanists Talking About? Find Out and Join In at AHACON21
A leading physician-scientist and immunologist. A state senator. A secular student leader. A professor of neuroscience. A talk show host and leader. A science education activist. These are just some of the outstanding speakers and humanist awardees scheduled to attend the American Humanist Association’s 80th Annual Conference, starting TOMORROW!
The AHA takes pride in this thought-provoking event, which takes place over two days and is chock-full of diverse expert speakers on topics that matter most to the humanist movement. This year’s event is totally different from anything we’ve ever done before.
AHACON21 is all about helping humanists connect with one another directly, but virtually, and growing our community through the exploration of the most critical issues facing us today. As the nation’s largest humanist organization, it is our goal to help our members and supporters connect and to provide new opportunities for our movement to grow, succeed, and make a positive impact.
That’s why, with this year’s conference, we’re creating a vibrant virtual community of over 700 humanists. When you register for AHACON21, you gain access to all the social aspects of the Conference, including thought-provoking and fun Community Board discussions, casual video meet-ups with other attendees, inspiring and interesting photo boards and articles posted by Conference attendees, and the opportunity to find other humanists with the same interests and exchange contact information to create lasting connections.
Here’s a glimpse of some of the conversations taking place RIGHT NOW on AHACON21’s Community Boards:
- Regional humanist introduction, connecting with local groups
- Show me your pets!
