Message From The Editor: Hope

I’m in Chicago today to speak to the Humanists of West Suburban Chicagoland, a Chapter of the American Humanist Association. If you’re in the area, please stop by! I always enjoy getting to meet with local humanist leaders and sharing, dare I say, the “good news” of humanism—and there’s been so much to share, as you can see in today’s jam-packed issue. As we pause and reflect on the tragic events twelve years ago today, Nikki Stern’s letter to her husband on the anniversary of 9/11 will move you and remind you why we need hope in our ever-changing world.
