MESSAGE FROM THE EDITOR: We

Humanist Network News is back after a brief hiatus as our staff prepared for the 71^st Annual Conference in New Orleans earlier this month! Thank you to the over 300 attendees that participated in breakout sessions, training workshops, and award ceremonies honoring humanist luminaries Gloria Steinem, Cenk Uygur, Shelley Segal, Jessica Ahlquist, Damon Fowler, Ira Flatow, Debra Sweet, and James “The Amazing” Randi! I personally enjoy reconnecting with so many humanists from across the country, and it’s great feeling inspired and energized by these individuals who are dedicated to helping humanism grow. Thank you all again!

Be sure to save the date for our 72^nd Annual Conference, to be held May 30-June 2, 2013 in San Diego, California, jointly with the United Coalition of Reason. We expect this event to be our biggest ever, so make your plans early! More details will be available on the AHA website in the fall.
