The Humanist Hour Podcast Announces New Co-Host

The Humanist Hour, the official podcast of the American Humanist Association, is pleased to announce a new permanent co-host!

Joining Todd Stiefel in co-hosting The Humanist Hour will be Kim Ellington, a secular activist and lifelong atheist originally from New Hampshire, currently living in North Carolina working for the separation of church and state. She is in her second year as a board member of the Triangle Freethought Society, an affiliate of the American Humanist Association, and has been a member for four years. She is also on the board of Camp Quest South Carolina, a member of the American Humanist Association and the Freedom From Religion Foundation, and a mother of an 8-year-old daughter.

The Humanist Hour podcast is a monthly one-hour talk show produced by the American Humanist Association. Every episode explores a different area of humanist thought, from politics to pop culture. A typical episode features interviews, commentary, news, and music. Notable guests have included Julia Sweeney, Bill Nye, Salman Rushdie, Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris, Christopher Hitchens, E.O. Wilson, Alan Dershowitz, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Andy Rooney, Greg Graffin, Holly Near, and Dar Williams.
