Aaron J. Place, PhD, is professor of biology at Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, Oklahoma, where he teaches courses in animal ecology, evolution, and behavior. When he’s not watching his teenage children play baseball or twirl baton, he works on projects around the house with his wife, enjoys trail running with his dog, and home beer brewing.
