Anita Peters
Anita Peters is a Board member since 2011 of The Humanists and Freethinkers of Fairfield Connecticut, the largest paid-membership-supported Humanist group in CT; Sr. Chair of the CT Coalition of Reason; and Humanist Celebrant since 2014. She is an Insight Institute certified funeral celebrant. She is a certified secondary History teacher and works for three CT school districts as a homebound Humanities teacher. She holds a Master’s in International Affairs from Columbia U. and graduate training in secondary teaching. She intends to teach The Humanist Choice at Chautauqua in 2023.
