Dr. Annalise Fonza

Dr. Annalise Fonza identifies openly and unapologetically as an atheist and as a womanist. In 2003 she voluntarily returned her ordination credential to the United Methodist Church ending seven years of community-based leadership and service as a Christian pastor. She is currently certified by The Humanist Society as a Humanist Celebrant. She is also a writer, a federal government employee, and she is a lecturer in the Department of Urban & Regional Planning at Cal Poly Pomona.
