Claire Mulvey
Claire Mulvey Claire Mulvey is the American Humanist Association’s Legal and Policy Assistant. In this dual role, she supports the work of the Appignani Humanist Legal Center (AHLC), as well as the operations of The Center for Freethought Equality (CFE) and its affiliated political action committee (PAC).
Founded in 2006, the AHLC is the AHA’s legal arm. Its attorneys defend constitutional rights and the separation of church and state through litigation and advocacy.
The CFE is the advocacy and political arm of the AHA, and is dedicated to advancing equality for the atheist and humanist communities by actively working to increase the number of humanists, atheists, and their allies in public office at all levels of government.
