David Orenstein, BS, MLS, MS, Ph.D., is Discipline Coordinator & Tenured Professor of Anthropology at Medgar Evers College/City University of New York. He is also a board member of the Broader Social Impacts Committee of the Hall of Human Origins at the Smithsonian Institute. He is a past president of the Secular Humanist Society of New York and the former AHA representative to the United Nations.
